Whoopsie

I had completely forgotten that today was a national holiday, therefore schools and businesses were closed.

I woke up oblivious of the occasion, showered, dressed for class, and was eating breakfast when my dad woke up and asked me where I was going. I told him I had an exam today and he asked "You still have exams on Family Day? I thought it's a holiday?" Whoops.

I'm really thankful that I didn't have to take my exam today because of my fever. Although it has subside, I have a tendency of getting the fever back after another night for the next 3 days. I'm hoping that it won't happen this time.

Today my whole family went to the hospital to visit my uncle who collapsed last night. Actually, we all wanted to go to the hospital the moment my aunt called but it was 3am in the morning.

When he were there, he was still unconscious. The doctor said that it was nothing serious and he should wake up sometime today. I know from experience that doctors are very good liars. We went home passed 8pm, spending more than 5 hours in the hospital and he still hasn't woken up.

The doctors insisted that there was nothing wrong. He is sleep deprived and stressed out. I really wished the doctors will just give an honest report.
