Dangerous Weather

This is actually my second time typing this blog. I typed one in Microsoft Word but I forgot to save it *facepalm*

Today the weather was a mess. There was 3 inches of snow causing humongous traffic in the high way. If you think that was bad, there was also rain and freezing rain across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Although it is calming down, there's going to be more freezing rain tomorrow.

I'm glad that my university classes were all cancelled because of the weather. Surprisingly, my siblings' school also called it a snow day, so they didn't have to go to school.

I was thinking of not going to the office this morning because the transportation (Go Buses) had a 1 hour delay. But knowing me, I don't like leaving my work undone knowing that it will leave some problems for others. So I got up, got dressed, and took the Go Bus. Instead of sitting in the Train for 20-30 minutes (the train stopped running because the tracks had too much snow), I had to sit in the bus for more than 2 hours.

When I got to work, the people I thought that I would trouble if I didn't finish my work, was nowhere to be seen...

Like a normal human being, I had a moment of anger release on my stress ball. I had called them to make sure that they were coming and they had said yes, so I took the trouble to commuting through the harsh weather.

I called them and all I got was the answering machine. I left 2 messages and just focused on my work. I don't know if they were afraid of me, but it would be most helpful if they let me know that they weren't coming so I could have gone home right away.

I'm glad that my partner in crime never disappoint me. She was at work earlier than I was because she got lucky and caught up with the earlier bus. We managed to finish my our work up until Thursday so I invited her to the workshop/conference that my professor insisted I go to.

I'm currently studying for my Calculus exam/test tomorrow. I'm praying for another snow day, but it is quite likely... So I'm stuffing my brain with so much information that it's about to explode.

If you don't hear from me tomorrow, you know the reason why...
